The system uses a microphone designed to detect the specific frequencies of an object striking glass in order to provide protection two ways: (a) in the event glass breakage is detected, an alarm will immediately sound and the starter will be disabled, or (b) if GBS senses an object striking glass-without breakage occurring-a warn-away alarm will be activated. GBS sensitivity can be adjusted to help reduce false alarms. Highly sensitive microphone detects the specific sound frequency of striking on glass or glass breakage. Sounds alarm and disarms starter if a window is broken.
